Victor Gardella

Victor joined MacMedics in 1999 and has since been on more than 2,700 service calls in the Baltimore and Washington areas. Prior to joining MacMedics he worked for Macintosh consulting firms in Chevy Chase and Bethesda, and now has over 12 years of professional Macintosh consulting experience.

In addition to heavy training in Macintosh operating systems and Apple hardware, Victor has spent extensive time in the classroom learning the skills of graphic designers. He has completed multiple courses focused on design-related applications such as Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Quark, etc., in addition to courses related to font management, print production, and workflow. He is an expert at supporting the needs of high-end graphic designers.

A particular joy for Victor is saving customers' data from potentially disastrous situations. When data appears lost he is relentless in his pursuit of getting it back, and on multiple occasions he has recovered it when other "experts" have declared it lost.

Victor also supports a number of MacMedics customers who have large Windows server environments where PC/Mac networking and connectivity issues come up frequently. He loves "switching" PC users over to the Macintosh platform. His first "switch" was a hardcore Windows user who worked as a Manager of Information Systems at IBM. She switched to a Macintosh iMac six years ago and has never looked back.

When he's not working on Macs, Victor enjoys crabbing, fishing, and cooking Italian food in his new home in Montgomery County. He is also a diehard Redskins fan.
