"I'm just writing to express my gratitude for your unbelievably efficient and generous service. I called on a Thursday night (after a consult at an Apple store) with a damaged hard drive. I was under extenuating circumstances, as I was leaving the United States the following Monday morning; I dropped the computer Friday at 8:30, and 3 hours later it was ready with a new hard drive and OS for much less than I had been quoted at the Apple store. "I
found MacMedics because I had a hard drive
meltdown. Upon hearing that nothing was
recoverable, I had a near meltdown myself.
I was determined that somebody could save
my data so I did a little search and
stumbled upon MacMedics. They literally,
saved the day. I dropped my computer off to
them, and immediately knew it was in good
hands and got the sense that they CARED
about getting my data back. I should
mention that my REALLY important stuff was
all backed up, but there was a lot of day
to day stuff that I really wanted back.
They kept me appraised of the status,
throughout the entire process and recovered
my data for TWO THOUSAND dollars less than
I had been quoted by another "data recovery
place". They also replaced my hard drive
and got the machine back up and running
good as new. They have been great in
advising me about a new back up system for
my business, and at this point NO ONE else
will ever touch my computer again - I will

"I am
truly amazed at the service you guys
performed. Prior to taking my computer to
your shop, I contemplated looking around
not really knowing what was involved in
data recovery. A friend of mine had
recommended MacMedics, so I figured if he
was happy with your service it must be
good. He was right! There is a notion out
there that data recovery can be very
expensive. However, that was not the case
with MacMedics data recovery. I was
pleasantly surprised with the price. Your

"I
found myself leaving another Apple
Authorized Service Provider in tears (an
understatement) without any hard facts
about my problem or my data. All I
encountered at this store was
discouragement (and condescension for not
backing up my data more often). The staff
at this store basically told me they
couldn't help me (unless I incurred a very
high cost, but even then they couldn't
guarantee anything), and the price to
recover my data would be anywhere from like
$500 to $1500. I didn't need "warm and
fuzzy" or sympathy, but they were VERY
sarcastic and generally harsh (and it turns
out, not even painting a realistic picture
of the situation) when I was obviously
upset, as my data was something of great
value to me that I thought I lost forever.
And then I walked in MacMedics. What a
difference! I knew immediately that even if
you could not restore the data from the
dead hard drive, that you would give it
your very best shot. Your friendly and
helpful staff immediately assured me that
your company could replace the hard drive
free of charge (under warranty). You made a
computer/technology-phobic feel absolutely
comfortable, even though you couldn't
guarantee a successful data recovery
outcome. Ultimately, though, you replaced
my hard drive with a brand new one, and
saved all of my data for a very low price
of $139. THANK YOU!"

"I was
in the middle of a project when my computer
froze. After restarting, my secondary hard
drive was no longer visible. Panic set in
because all of my current projects were
located on that drive and two of those were
ready to go to press on that same day. My
greatest fear was the complete loss of all
the data and the repercussions of the loss.
I contacted Mac Medics and explained the
situation. I chose to drop off my CPU at
their office and later that afternoon I
received a call informing me that they were
successful in recovering all my data. They
called because they knew how important this
recovery meant to me. After doing the dance
of joy _ come on, you know the one _ I

year old daughter left her video iPod in
her pants pocket where it remained through
the beginning of our washing machine's
rinse cycle. After hearing the banging
noise, we opened the machine to pull out
the wet device. Not surprisingly, the iPod
no longer worked. We found MacMedics on an

skeptical hope that the iPod could be

putting my iPod through a year of abuse, I
found myself at the point that I needed to
fix it or get it replaced. Wary of using a
Internet based iPod repair shop, I stumbled
