Before you visit MacMedics

Hi! Coming to visit MacMedics for Mac, iPhone, iPad,
Apple TV, Watch, or AirPod service?

We’re here to help
Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:00!

Back To Home

We no longer require face masks inside the store, but our staff is still wearing masks to protect you and our immunosuppressed team members at both of our stores.

When you are ready for an Apple repair, visit us anytime 8:30 AM – 5 PM Monday-Friday.

All Apple Mac, iPad, and Apple TV are available for the same price as the Apple Store. We have also restocked our selection of MacMedics used and refurbished Macs. Take a peek here.

We do offer Same-Day iPhone and AirPod repairs, with most repairs complete in 2-hours or less.

For Mac computers, we are running a 1-3 day turn-around. Some service parts for iPhone and Mac are still being affected by supply chain disruptions and the “chip shortages”.

If you’re visiting MacMedics from far away, PLEASE email or call us first to confirm your specific repair details. Are you visiting for the first time? Be sure to check our website for instructions on how to find us!

“Find my iPhone” must be turned OFF for ALL iPhone repairs before we can work on the device, also your iPhone needs to be backed up.

Here is a step by step guide on how to turn off “Find my iPhone” along with a helpful video from Apple that shows you the three things (including turning off Find my iPhone from your device) to do before your visit. If your iPhone, iPad, or Mac is too broken to turn off “Find My” follow these instructions carefully: Directions if your iPhone/iPad/Mac is too broken to work. If you cannot turn it off yourself, and you supply us with your Apple ID and password we’ll turn it off as a last resort for a $25 fee.

Please make a service appointment at Apple.com to visit. We do have walk-in repair slots as well; if you arrive by 10:00 AM, your iPhone repair should complete by 3:00 PM (subject to availability).

Also, for customers who are looking to “swap out” a malfunctioning iPhone for a new one in-store (like the Apple Store does), MacMedics does not have the ability to do that. In some cases, iPhone repairs have to be sent to the Apple iPhone hospital. If you have AppleCare+ w/o damage or Apple Limited Warranty w/o damage in most cases you’ll get a free Apple loaner iPhone issued by MacMedics on behalf of Apple. In all other cases MacMedics can usually get you new iPhone overnight with no loaner iPhone.

If you have a broken iPhone screen:

MacMedics has the ability to perform iPhone (6s – 13 Pro Max) screen repairs in store.

MacMedics can only repair your iPhone screen if it’s not bent. Please remove your iPhone from your case and check to ensure it’s NOT bent, and that the glass on the back of the iPhone is NOT broken before arriving for your screen replacement appointment.

Other VERY important information regarding ALL repairs:

    • Back up your iPhone or iPad to your Mac and/or iCloud BEFORE your visit
    • Apple does not preserve the data on your phone (if we have to ship your iPhone or iPad to Apple). The device returned to you may be a replacement.
    • Turn OFF Find My iPhone BEFORE visiting (found under iCloud in Settings)
    • If you are having a battery issue or some other internal issue (like no WiFi, Cell Signal issues, crashing, lockups, or other random issues, Apple will first ask to have your iPhone restored. In order to do that, you DO need to be backed up first. If we do it, we charge $49 to restore an iPhone (with no data preservation) or $99 to back up and restore.
    • We cannot help you reset your iCloud password. If need to reset it, goto www.iforgot.apple.com
    • If your iPhone or iPad is iCloud Activation Locked, there is nothing we can do to help.

Your data on your iPhone is 100% your responsibility. We can give advice on how to backup to iCloud or your computer. We DO NOT help with restoring your data back to your iPhone as part of our repair service. If you need additional help, that is available separately.
