MacMedics iPhone & iPad Repair Information
Before You Visit:
If you are traveling a significant distance to visit MacMedics, please email or call us first so we can confirm that we can help with your specific repair.
First visit? Please review our website’s directions before you leave so you can find us easily.
Find My must be turned off before we can service any iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Follow our step-by-step Find My instructions, including Apple’s video guidance. If the device is too damaged to use, follow the same instructions for disabling Find My remotely.
If you cannot disable Find My yourself and provide your Apple Account credentials, we can assist as a last resort for a $29 fee. We cannot service an Activation Locked device.
Current Turnaround Times:
-
iPhone repairs: A limited number of same-day appointments may be available. Make an appointment through Apple Support when possible.
-
Walk-in iPhone repairs: Arrive by 10:00 AM and, subject to parts and service availability, your repair may be completed by 3:00 PM.
-
Mac repairs: Typical turnaround is 24–48 hours.
-
Battery service: Usually takes 2–3 hours; available Monday through Friday only. We stop accepting battery repairs at 3:00 PM.
MacMedics cannot exchange a malfunctioning iPhone for a new one in store as an Apple Store may. Some repairs must be sent to Apple for service or replacement.
iPhone Screen Repairs
MacMedics performs eligible in-store screen repairs for iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Before scheduling a screen repair:
-
Remove the case and inspect the phone.
-
The iPhone must not be bent.
-
The rear glass must not be broken.
-
Please disclose liquid exposure and any prior damage.
-
A screen protector may not survive the repair process.
We no longer service iPhone 5, 6, 7, 8, X, or first-generation iPhone SE models in store. Certain older models may be eligible for Apple mail-in service.
