The History Behind MacMedics

MacMedics was forged out of frustration in 1989 when Mac enthusiast Dana Stibolt had a simple problem with his Mac Plus (now classified as “Obsolete” by Apple). After repeated attempts to get basic questions answered and several out-of-this-world repair estimates from local Apple dealers, Dana realized there was a severe void for customer-focused and affordable Macintosh service and support in the Baltimore and Annapolis area.
 
As a result, MacMedics was started in the Annapolis, Maryland area to provide a new type of fast and friendly Apple computer service in November 1989. As MacMedics grew, the company expanded to offer service first in Washington, DC, then Philadelphia, PA.
 
MacMedics now offers Apple Authorized Service, Consulting, and Sales throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as we provide our services in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey.

MacMedics is recognized as an Apple certified triple threat, serving as an Apple Partner, Apple Technical Partner, and Apple Authorized Service Provider. We leverage our 36-years of Apple Mac expertise to offer a comprehensive range of services, including Mac, iPhone, iPad and everything Apple makes sales, service, and on-site consulting and support. All our services are provided by Apple Duthorized technicians or consultants!
