A note from your friends at MacMedics: Before you “unleash” these updates on your Mac, PLEASE ensure you have a working and tested backup before you do! Also, updates are always exciting and enticing to install, but if you’re in the middle of a job, do yourself a favor and put on the brakes until you have some time when you can afford to be down if something goes wrong.
MacMedics is dedicated to helping Mac users keep their systems in tip-top shape, but if you make you living with your Mac, don’t risk an update in the middle of a deadline. Also, many updates cause new problems that might be a real setback for you.
See our Apple software update safety page here, before you install a major update (like this one).
