We see this from time to time: a customer has an old computer that has been stored in an attic or garage for 20 years or so, and they decide that they want the data from it before they dispose of it.
In this case, the computer in question is a Power Computing PowerCurve 601/120 Mac clone that was introduced in 1995. It has a 1GB Seagate Medalist SCSI hard drive.
We were able to copy the data that the client wanted to a USB thumb drive and return it to them within 24 hours. The old computer will be recycled by MacMedics.
Do you have a tough Macintosh data recovery project that you need help with? Our prices start at $399 and include a free 500 GB USB hard drive for your recovered data. See more at: https://macmedics.com/recovery.htm
