Phishing emails are getting more advanced

MacMedics Locations in Severna Park & Lanham

This Chase “Phishing” email arrived in my inbox today. I could tell right away that it was fake. If you see my first photo, I checked to see who the email was from and as you can see it did not come from Chase. For fun, I clicked on the link and was shocked to see how good the fake “Chase” was. The hackers even have a security certificate installed. The Phishing site looks identical to the real Chase website. The fake site has already been pulled down by the authorities.
The hackers are targeting people over 55. They have a sucker list too, so often the folks they are sending these attacks to have already fell victim to some type of lesser scam.
Most banks have their own secure messaging inside their website, so if you feel something is going on, you can always login and check there.
