If you get a ‘Cannot Verify AirPods’ alert
At MacMedics, we encounter counterfeit AirPods on a fairly regular basis. Customers will often say they received them as a gift or they were purchased on Facebook Marketplace for well below the retail value. Fake AirPods WILL usually have an actual Apple serial number, so don’t let that fool you.
