You want AppleCare+, and you want to buy it from Apple!
There are many places to buy a new iPhone, and ALL of them push their own iPhone insurance or some hybrid product, including AppleCare+. Do yourself a favor and buy your AppleCare from MacMedics, or you can buy it right on your new iPhone 15. You can pre-pay for two years (we don’t know the price yet, but maybe $229 or $249) or enroll and go month-to-month. You also can add a Loss and Theft option for an extra fee. Just know that Apple will not pay a loss/theft claim if your Find my iPhone is switched off. Apple also gives you 60 days to enroll in AppleCare+, but don’t wait; buy it as soon as you have your new iPhone! Don’t forget that AppleCare+ is now renewable across ALL Apple devices. Use the Apple Support App to see when your devices are expiring.
Still, trying to decide if you want to trade in your old iPhone? It is an excellent idea to keep it until your data is transferred over and then wait a few days! If your iPhone is too old to trade, consider keeping it as a backup iPhone!
