Approximately a week and a half ago, I created a video about a customer who fell victim to a scam obituary website. According to the customer, the content appeared to be AI-generated. The team at Tidbits confirmed this and provided a detailed breakdown of the scam in a recent article that appears below. Just a […]

“So recently, I had a hard drive failure, and I was staring down the barrel of 4 years of photos vanished into the digital ether. After several attempts to recover the data on my own, I enlisted the pros at MacMedics. Kyle and Dana came through in grand fashion! Recovered everything in less than a […]

Don’t take somebody else’s word that your data is gone forever….. Despite being told his “totally dead” MacBook Air was beyond saving, we were able to investigate the device and successfully recover this professional pilot’s data at a much lower cost than a clean room data recovery service. Our $59 diagnostic fee is a worthwhile […]

Don’t get fooled when buying a refurbished or used Mac from eBay, Amazon, or Walmart. Sellers often obscure the model number or the release year in the posting. I have also seen sellers use the current macOS wallpaper on the older Mac to make it look “current.”The Apple design and finish are so modern that […]

“This morning, my computer was hacked by a scammer who locked down my system and provided an audio warning that I needed to call the Apple Support Team immediately. If I shut down my computer, all my information would be deleted. I am a boomer, but I was smart enough to take it immediately to […]
