You might want to hold off on that software update…

MacMedics iPhone Service

While you’re working from home or have some extra time to fill, we’re recommending that you NOT run that software update on your Macintosh, iPhone, or iPad while you have important work to do. If your device is working, we would recommend you just let it go on its current software revision and ONLY run an update if needed. We are fielding lots of calls from folks who have performed an upgrade, and now their device is not booting. If you did run an update on a Mac, give it some time to install, it can take a while. Don’t forget that the Internet is slower in some areas, which can also be a factor when it comes to an update, especially a large one. Also, DON’T perform an upgrade without having a fully functioning Time Machine backup in place.
